A Life Less Ordinary OOC
I'm going to drop Sean in ordinary. I am having trouble with writing a non-au pup. Modern day and all that and trying to make it be ordinary and I already have one of those, but he's a werewolf down in wellinton so he doesn't really count as neither modern day nor ordinary.

I did enjoi the ooc chats with you all. So with massive hugs to you all I am closing down the sea_dance journal.

Catch you in an AU elsewhere perhaps <3

Apologies [Jan. 26th, 2004|10:18 pm]
A Life Less Ordinary OOC
[mood |apologetic]

Hi, I'd like to apologise to everyone for not being able to make the group chat on Saturday. I was stuck at the airport and had no means of getting home. I did send messages to Viggo-mun's and Liv-mun's cellphones, but I believe they got the messages late thanks to a disruption in the network.

I have an idea of what direction the game should be going in and once I discuss things with Liv-mun, we'll email each of you individually to work things out. Thanks again for your patience!

Heya everyone!

I'mma back. Sorry for being gone for a couple of weeks. My internet has been really trashy and I have not been avoiding anyone, my internet's just gone that bad. I'm a bit more settled now, and back on my own computer with my own files close at hand.

Just wondering if the group chat is still going on? Hope to catch some of you online!

Atención, All Players! [Jan. 13th, 2004|02:14 am]
A Life Less Ordinary OOC
Just a note to all players in A Life Less Ordinary: due to real-life stuff, the mods will be taking a temporary hiatus until 21 January. Liv-mun has a hideous law exam to get through while I (Bean-mun) am taking time to settle into my upcoming new job. Pups are free to post as per normal; by all means, don't let us stop you from RP-ing. It's just that things will slow down for a while until the hectic stuff dies down. We also have a few issues to discuss, and it would be great if everyone could get together for a group chat on 24 January. We're looking at 3pm EST: if anyone can't make this chat, do let me know and I'll try to arrange a time which is convenient for everyone.

We understand that the RPG has been slow recently, and it's probably due to a number of factors that will be revealed in due time. In the meantime, we love how everyone's been posting and writing beautifully. You could take advantage of this hiatus too, to plot out stuff for your character.

Feel free to take advantage of the OOC community and post as often as you like to suggest plot ideas, etc.

I also understand that it's a bit difficult for some players to contact others, so I encourage everyone to approach each other if you guys see each other online. There's no harm in some zany plotting and gratuitous smut, right? Heh.

Alright, so take care of yourselves and we'll see you again on the 21st. Take care and have fun plotting and planning.

Hey all...

I've been working on an entry for my Miranda journal but I've held off on posting it yet because I'm a bit confused. Are the individual entries supposed to be in third person? Or is that just the way some of you have decided to write them? I guess my take on the whole thing was that the individual journals were actually supposed to be our character's journal...so I don't quite get why they are written in third person instead of first. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. :-)

ooc: tig proposal [Jan. 4th, 2004|07:08 pm]
A Life Less Ordinary OOC
hiya! I have an idea for a tig in a laundromat, if anyone would be interested in meeting Dom there? Drop me a line here or through email (dom @ secret-panel.net), and maybe we can set a time to hook up in chat!

Of New York [Jan. 3rd, 2004|01:17 pm]
A Life Less Ordinary OOC

Well, I figured I would jump right in here, if that's okay with everyone.

Hiya! Just wanted to pop by and offer my services as a native New Yorker, born here, and 25 years later I'm still here :) I'm not sure who else is actually a New Yorker, but I figured it couldn't hurt to put it out there. If anyone has any specific questions on locations, rents, apartment, neighborhoods, clubs, streets, people, transportation, etc., please don't hestitate to drop me a line, either here or at elispins@hotmail.com. I'll help in any way I can, or if there are other New Yorkers here maybe we can confer on some things to help make the game more realistic.

So that's it. And hiya. Which I think I already said, but it can't hurt to say it again.

See you all soon.
